Subscription management that finance can report from
Every customer, contract and line item in one register, recorded the way the contract reads rather than the way it was invoiced. It is the record the ARR bridge, retention and board pack are built from.
Every figure traces back to a contract line
Each line keeps its price, quantity, discount, billing interval, currency, service dates and revenue type, as the contract states them. Import customers and contracts from CSV and export them back in the same format.

- Revenue types
- Recurring, one-time, usage and metered. Only recurring lines count towards MRR.
- Contract terms
- Contract number, type, total contract value, auto-renewal, trial, pause and cancellation dates.
- Account hierarchy
- Parent and child accounts for corporate groups, with segment and industry.
- Custom fields
- Text, number, date, select and other field types on customers and contracts.
What is signed, what is live and what renews next
The register keeps signed contracts that have not started apart from live ones, and tells you which renewals are coming up.
- Contracted ARR
- Live contracts plus signed contracts that have not started yet, with the unstarted part shown as backlog.
- Renewals due
- Contracts renewing in the next 90 days, listed in the board pack.
- Data warnings
- Overdue renewals and trials past their end date are flagged before you close the month.
- Legal entities
- Each contract is booked to the entity that sold it, so ARR splits by entity and currency.
In from the workbook, out in the same format
There is no implementation project and no integration to maintain.
- Two CSV files
- Customers and contract line items, from a CRM, a billing system or the existing workbook.
- Validated rows
- Rows that fail validation are listed with the reason and not imported.
- Same format out
- Everything exports to CSV in the import format, so the workbook remains an exit.
- Audit trail
- Who created and last changed each record; contract changes go to an event log.
Beside your billing, not instead of it
Invoicing stays in Xero, QuickBooks or NetSuite. Revnewed reads contracts and never issues an invoice, so there is nothing to migrate and nothing to switch off.
Questions about the contract record
We invoice from NetSuite, Xero or QuickBooks rather than Stripe. Does Revnewed work?
Yes. Revnewed works from contracts, not payment events. Customers and contract line items are imported from CSV exports of a CRM, billing system or workbook: price, quantity, discount, billing interval, currency and service dates. Each row is validated; rows that fail are listed with the reason and not imported.
What is included in MRR?
Recurring line items in force at month end, normalised to a month and net of discounts. One-time fees, usage, trials and contracts with a future start date are excluded. Signed contracts that have not started are reported as backlog within contracted ARR.
Does Revnewed send invoices or forecast?
No. Invoicing stays in Xero, QuickBooks or NetSuite; Revnewed reads contracts and never issues an invoice. It reports signed and live contracts, and budgets and scenarios belong in the planning model, which can import its exports.
