For finance teams at invoice-billed B2B SaaS

Close your SaaS metrics like you close your books.

Revnewed turns signed contracts into an MRR bridge that ties out, retention at constant currency, and a board pack you close each month. It reads contracts, so there is no Stripe account to connect.

30 days free, no card. Opens with a sample company and two years of history.

Agrees to the ledger · USD at month-end rates

Opening MRR plus new business, expansion, churn and FX impact equals closing MRR for September.
Ties out
Opening plus every movement plus FX equals closing, every month.
Constant currency
Expansion and NRR are measured at last month’s rates.
Closed means closed
Reported months never change without a flag.

The month-end problem

ARR should not be rebuilt by hand every month.

If you invoice from Xero, QuickBooks or NetSuite, there is no Stripe subscription to read. The board numbers end up in a spreadsheet that one person understands.

  • The bridge is a spreadsheet

It is rebuilt before every board meeting, and the plug that makes it balance never quite gets explained.

  • Reported numbers move

A backdated upgrade changes last quarter after the board has seen it, and nobody can say by how much.

  • Currency passes for growth

When part of the book is in euros or pounds, a weaker dollar shows up as expansion and flatters NRR.

What Revnewed does

One method, applied the same way every month.

Revnewed reads contract line items and dates: what you sign, invoice and report on. Every screen, export and board pack comes from the same calculation.

An MRR bridge that ties out

New business, expansion, reactivation, contraction and churn come from dated contract changes, customer by customer. Opening MRR plus every movement plus FX equals closing MRR, so there is no plug line to explain.

Movements
Measured at last month’s rates, so currency never shows up as expansion
Win-backs
Counted as reactivation only after a month at zero
Drill-down
Largest gains and losses by customer, every month

Currency kept out of your growth rate

Choose a reporting currency and a rate policy. Every contract converts the same way each month, FX gets its own line in the bridge, and a missing or stale rate is flagged before you close.

Close the month. Keep the number.

When the month is reviewed, close it. The bridge, retention and top customers are stored as reported. If a contract is backdated later, the month is flagged with both figures and multi-month bridges show the restatement.

How it works

From spreadsheet to closed month in an afternoon.

No implementation project and no data pipeline. Everything exports back to CSV, so your spreadsheet stays a way out.

  1. Step 1

    Import contracts

One CSV of customers and one of line items, exported from your CRM, billing system or the spreadsheet you keep today. Every row is checked before anything is saved.

  2. Step 2

    Review the month

Read the bridge, retention and largest movers. Missing rates, overdue renewals and trials past their end date are listed, so you fix data rather than formulas.

  3. Step 3

    Close and send

Close the month and print the board pack. Next month starts from the number you reported, and any restatement is visible.

Who it is for

Built for whoever signs off the numbers.

CFOs, VPs of Finance and controllers

Report ARR, NRR and the bridge from one source, close the month, and retire the spreadsheet that only you can maintain.

  • Try it on your own contracts for 30 days
  • Unlimited users for the board, accountants and auditors
  • Every number exports to CSV

Fractional CFOs and accounting firms

Run every client’s month-end metrics with one method and one login. Each client gets its own workspace, its own close and its own board pack.

  • Switch between client workspaces without signing out
  • The same definitions across every client
  • Priced per client on that company’s ARR

Scope

It does one job, next to your accounting system.

Revnewed is the place your recurring-revenue numbers are calculated, reviewed and closed. It is deliberately not these things.

Billing and invoicing
Keep invoicing from Xero, QuickBooks or NetSuite. Revnewed reads your contracts and never sends an invoice.
Revenue recognition
ASC 606 and IFRS 15 stay with your accounting system and your auditors. Revnewed reports recurring revenue, not recognised revenue.
Forecasting and planning
Revnewed reports what was signed and what was live. Budgets and scenarios belong in your FP&A model, which can import its CSV exports.
Self-serve Stripe billing
If every customer pays by card through Stripe, ChartMogul and Baremetrics are built for that and serve it well.

Pricing

Priced on the ARR you track, not on seats.

Questions

What finance teams ask first.

We invoice from NetSuite, Xero or QuickBooks, not Stripe. Does this work?

Yes. Revnewed works from contracts, not payment events. Export customers and line items from your CRM, billing system or spreadsheet and import them as CSV. Price, quantity, discount, billing interval, currency and dates are all it needs.

How do you treat FX?

You pick a reporting currency and a rate policy: month-end rate, latest rate or monthly average. Movements are measured at the previous month’s rates and the currency effect gets its own line in the bridge, so retention is not flattered or hurt by exchange rates. Sync ECB rates or upload your own.

What happens if data changes after we close a month?

The closed figures stay as reported. The month is flagged with the closed and live numbers side by side, and bridges across several months show the gap as a restatement. Close the month again once you accept the change.

What counts as MRR?

Recurring line items that are live at month end, normalised to a month. One-time fees, trials and contracts that start later are left out of MRR. Signed contracts that have not started yet show as backlog, so you can report contracted ARR as well.

How is our data kept separate from other customers?

Each workspace is isolated in the database with Postgres row-level security, enforced on every query. Members have owner, admin, member or viewer roles, and you can export everything to CSV or delete your account at any time.

We look after several companies. Is that one account?

One login, one workspace per company, and a switcher to move between them. Each workspace has its own plan, priced on that company’s ARR.
